Twitterfeed -> Ping.fm Ignoring Default Posting Method

Posting from Twitterfeed is resulting in ping.fm posting using the micro-blog method rather than the default method of status updates. How do I make it use the default method? I can't get my posts to go to LinkedIn because it only accepts status updates.

It's taken me a while to figure out that the reason my posts aren't going through to LinkedIn is that my posts are going out as micro-blog. Yet, my default method is set to Status Update. I'm realizing from reading this that it might have something to do with the fact that it's coming from TwitterFeed. I don't see any way to set method in Twitterfeed and ping.fm doesn't seem to correct it.

Just adding another data point in hopes that we get an answer.

Isn't working for me either, and it's intensely frustrating that there appears to be no solution as I dig through the help section.

Why does it rarely know the EAN?

I've figured out how to scan, and it's getting the right EAN, but it often doesn't recognize the EAN so I have to enter the ISBN manually. It recognizes the ISBN just fine. Frustrating.

Moving the product in really close to the camera and then slowly pulling out worked for me. Though, now that it's getting the number, it's not able to find any info! :)

Twitter conversation threading

Want to be able to follow a Twitter discussion back to what people are responding to like I can through the Twitter site. Right now i have to go back to Twitter.com to see.

That's a start. It's awfully buried, and "smart folder" isn't the most intuitive labeling. It seems to me it's worth giving it a much more prominent placement and more obvious name with "search" somewhere in it. Like, I go to Edit -> Find and I should be able to see there's a search across all option of some sort.

Just searching the twitter feed isn't enough. If I can't remember where I saw something mentioned i want to be able to search through my twitter, google reader, and others all at the same time. A saved search that keeps track of that stuff would be invaluable to me for watching trends and tracking various things.

Right now i'm having to look by hand through google reader in EventBox to try to find something, which is annoying as hell. Having to open Google Reader to do the search nullifies having a special tool.
