Derek Del Conte set one of Derek Del Conte's replies as an official response to "can canada text?" in innerfence
Derek Del Conte replied on March 04, 2009 04:31 to the question "can canada text?" in innerfence:
Hi.
The cell phone you want to exchange messages with has to have a US number.
However, you can use Infinite SMS on an iPod or iPhone over the internet from anywhere.
So you could use Infinite SMS in Canada, for example, to exchange messages with someone in the US. Your messages would be free, and for the person in the US there are no international texting charges, just ordinary ones.
If you want to ask Google about support for other countries, you could do that in their forum:

Derek Del Conte replied on March 04, 2009 04:23 to the question "update 1.3" in innerfence:
Hi, Mike.
You can use 1.3 in both the standard portrait mode and also landscape -- it depends on which way you're holding the device.
The status spinner just shows when Infinite SMS is connecting during the initial message check.
You can find out more about 1.3 here:

Derek Del Conte set one of Derek Del Conte's replies as an official response to "sign via touchscreen" in innerfence
Derek Del Conte replied on March 03, 2009 21:16 to the question "sign via touchscreen" in innerfence:
Hi, David.
Thanks for the question! Credit Card Terminal does not currently support capturing a customer's signature via the iPhone's touch screen.
We've explored adding signature capture and have also discussed it with Authorize.Net.
The short answer is that Credit Card Terminal performs Card Not Present (CNP) transactions -- the same type of transactions used for phone and internet purchases. A CNP transaction does not require a signature.
We'd certainly love any feedback or thoughts you might have on this. Thanks!

Derek Del Conte replied on March 02, 2009 01:56 to the question "adding contacts?" in innerfence:
Hi, Austin.
You can pick contacts using the blue plus button on the compose screen, then it will display their name instead of their phone number.
You can use the Contacts application from the home screen to create entries in your address book.
You can also configure iTunes to sync your address book with other things, like your gmail contacts.
