    yes. im sure. first thing i tried was deinstalling it again....the crashing stopped. I have used the client about 1 week now I think. So I could test this only over a couple days.... But it was pretty obvious when once the client got installed again, the crashing started again.

    But as I said: As long as Im on the PC and using it the crash never occurs...it seems to be only crashing outlook when I was away for a while while leaving the PC turned on.
    Do you think this solves the problem? Mark it as solved

    I just tried the newest version of the outlook sync app. All works fine, it sync the contacts properly.

    The problem I have is this: When I leave my computer for a while, its actually not even set to sleep but my screen turns off automatically after 10 minutes.

    So every time I come back after the screen turned off automatically, I will have a message waiting, saying that Outlook crashed (and then giving me the typical choice if i want to send this info to MS or not). I click cancel, restart Outlook and all is back to normal. If I initiate a sync manually it still works.

    It is just very annoying that I get this crash message several times a day when everything else works fine, even though it doesnt hang my PC or sth like that.

    I tried about 4 different softwares for syncing outlook and gmail contacts.....and soocial is by far the best and syncs more accurate than ALL others I tried. This is the only problem I have with it...I understand its a beta of course. Any help appreciated.
