Yes, the Loopt Journal Widget only displays the entries that you have knowingly broadcasted. Note that we also have a Facebook Loopt Application, which allows Loopt users to see each other's real time location on the map.
As for adding it to your blog, you will want to simply cut & paste the code snippet you can grab from your journal widget settings - below the last row of icons, on the right hand side, you will notice a 'Embed Code' box, with a 'copy' button a further to the right. Just click on the button, and paste the content into any page of your blog - but in the 'Source' view of the post you are editing.
Hope this helps,
Denis

For sure, we thought some of you Loopters would want to do just that, so we have something called the 'Loopt Journal Widget' - which is a little Map widget that displays the last 10 entries of your journal - and which you can post onto your online profiles or on your own web page. You can check out my own, which I posted on a blog: http://mylooptjournal.com/
To turn it on, log on to your Loopt account on the web, and go to the 'Settings' page. Once there, click on the 'Loopt Links' tab located on the left column. Click on the green Journal Widget icon, and it will take you to a page where you can create and enable your own widget. Here's a link to that page that you can use if you are already logged in:

Let us know what you think of it,
