We have introduced Social Links. Set them in Account > Social Links.

There is a 5MB limit per photo and just enough storage for Snapend not to become yet another photo dump site.

We generate temporarily links that expire a few minutes after page loads. Are you referring to removal of 'View Original Photo' link?

Flicker is a great photo sharing site and is used to store photos ranging from family getaways/weddings to sci-fi wallpapers. With a rapidly growing user base, it becomes harder to get noticed.

Snapend is not a popularity contest. Featured contest will be selected based on a large criteria. As the site growth, we will be implementing best practices so that each user gets a fair chance. Just to give you a Twitter example: If user A has 100,000 followers and that user posts a new photo, then popularity of that photo should not be any different from user B, who has only 100 followers. There are a lot of different ways to look at that so stay tuned as we work on our site map.
