Yes u got the up to date gear there, have u tried it on winamp say? that can play most formats ... but of course thats a major issue for Spotty if u cant play their own tracks

Yesssss , using Spotty only with the ability to import ur media folder or intergrate into winamp [vica versa] would be the dogs ....
also as already mentioned enable an EQ and Crossfade and u can forget iTunes for ever ...

Why not install a DSP function in Spotty, it would solve the issue, and while ur at it, how about a crossfade option ? u know it makes sense !

Alternate library views ?

Dont know if this is already implemented, but it concerns album art views.
In my library i do have missing art, very annoying, so it spoils whichever view i pick, is there another viewing option, even artwork turned off, or wallpaper views, it just annoys having blank gaps in my views.

Thats great to hear, im sure we all want SB to be the best media player around, i would love to ditch the rest and use the best, is the crossfade prob solved in 1.4 too

I also suffered badly with this "feature", 3 gb of files completely messed up, its an awful feature that i believe needs dropping from SB, certainly as a default setting at the very least.
I do believe SB can get there, but there are so many basic flaws, that makes peeps [myself included] stick with current media players until the flaws are ironed out, a faster response to correct basic issues would be nice.

These are napster files, so i suppose they would go through wmp being wma files , theres no art left in them at all, had to try and get some online, a real pain ....

I agree im afraid, we just need something like itunes has, genres to choose from at 128 minimum stream, this is where SB is falling short i believe ...

Same for me too, i still use JR MEDIA CENTRE as well for my music simply due to the crossfade option, please make me a complete SB convert, make it so !

Album art has vanished from files ? or so it seems, after loadind my media from its folder into SB, if i play the songs on other apps now the cover art seems to have gone, anyway of restoring the art to the files ? thanx team ..
