Thanks for raising this Alexey. I have spent *hours* on a "learning experience" with Linux, trying to solve the problem, first by installing Firefox 3, then by installing Opera. Opera did help me with other sites because you can re-size the viewable area, but seesmic stoutly resists even that.
Thomas, great that you are working on a fix. I would so like to be able to use Seesmic next week at BlogWorld & New Media Expo.
