Everyone seems to hate them, but Bank of America has treated me extremely well over the years. I once owed Sovereign Bank something like $200 in overdraft fees alone (on about eight purchases totalling under $30). They wouldn't remove a single charge. That was many years ago. Since then I've been hit with a handful of overdraft charges, and BofA had removed every one. I finally got overdraft protection, realizing I'm bad at math, and they hit me with a $10 charge when I used it. I wan't told about the charge. With most companies I'd be panic-stricken that they had just robbed me, but I know I could call up customer service and have it removed. I'm not saying bad things don't happen--they do with every company--but I like how these guys handle the situations. It gives me comfort.

I Freekin' Love my Macbook and my Ipod. I've 2 problems--one self-created, the other their hardware malfunction--but both have were resolved so quickly and painlessly by those Genius guys. I Ipod stopped syncing a couple days ago, so I scheduled an appointment for the next day. They took a look, realized it wasn't fixable on the spot, and since it was still under warranty, I walked away with a replacement. At most places, warranties were so full of loop-holes and caveats that they're almost meaningless. At the apple store, I went in with a hopeless, and in under half an hour, I left feeling like I found a home :)
