great! good to hear it will be put in! I've been using Apple Mail with the vertical view plugin for this reason alone, rather than postbox....oh, and the fact that mail meshes so well with contacts, ical, etc....

Background indexing
I just tried to index my mail. It took a while. Seems like this should be done as a background process instead of shutting down the email.
