I've integrated Ping.fm into TweetLater's bigger brother, PostLater.com
http://www.postlater.com
You can also schedule Twitter tweets in PostLater.

Wendy,
I truly apologize. My tweet to you wasn't meant as a scold, not even in the least. I'm sorry that it came across that way.
What behavior did you observe in the software when you tried to change from public tweet to private DM?
There was a short period of time on Friday when my software had a problem validating the Twitter credentials against the Twitter system. I suspect it was unfortunately during that period of time when you tried to change from public tweets to private DMs.
That issue has now been solved.

Dewald Pretorius replied on June 30, 2008 02:29 to the question "Autofollow not working?" in TweetLater:
I see a lot of API rate limits exceeded in my TweetLater logs. Twitter's API is currently allowing only 20 requests per hour. If you're using a client like Twhirl, then it probably consumes all available API calls and leave none for your auto-follows.
If you could send me your TweetLater user id via http://www.tweetlater.com/contact, I'll take a look and see if this is the cause of your issue.
The auto-follow feature isn't broken. Many auto-follows are going through successfully.
Dewald Pretorius replied on June 25, 2008 11:40 to the problem "login problem" in TweetLater:
There are two possible reasons for the error you experienced:
1) Twitter could have been down / sick at the time when you tried to add your account, or
2) The credentials you supplied weren't correct.
I just successfully added a Twitter account, so it appears to be working.
Please try again and let me know if you have any luck.

Enhancement Request: Threaded ConversationsI posted a Twitter enhancement request on my site, where I explain how Twitter can enable threaded conversations in three easy steps.

Losing FollowersMany people are reporting losing followers today.
Twitter employees, is this a bug or is it due to some proactive action you're taking?

My Recent tab entries are gone as well. The oldest entry I have is of 7 minutes ago (Sunday morning 6:50 AM EST) when I first refreshed the web page this morning.
Perhaps my entries were not in the cache, and my refresh triggered the cache to being updated? Newer entries (since 7 minutes ago) seem to be updating when I click refresh.
It's not a web-only issue because Twhirl shows the same - nothing older than 7 minutes ago.

Feature Request: Filter TweetsA very nice and useful feature would be the ability to filter out (block) tweets from one's feed that contain user-specified words or phrases.
It will also go a long way towards curbing porn and other spam once it hits Twitter.
