SRINI gave praise in Get Satisfaction on October 19, 2008 12:30:
FeedbackComing back here after a long while! You seem to be doing well! I have directed some users of slideshare here to get their issues fixed and that seemed to have worked! Congratulations and thanks!

This is promise-delivered-announcement. A slideshow put together by four people - 2 from India + 1 from Hunagary + i from the US.
The Indians have never met the other two except in slideshare. The other two also have never met except in slideshare.
We worked in our free time over a month and uploaded this slideshow, nay, slidecast! You can watch this here: http://www.slideshare.net/lugos/words...
We also used the private view feature made available a few month sback and seriously questioned by me at that time! LOL!
It was an exciting and fulfilling experience. Thanks slideshare team!

I am coming back here after quite a while. I wd like to record my appreciation for what you are doing. Your guys are prompt, helpful and courteous (all at the same time, I must hasten to add!)
Recently I suggested your service to a friend in need of attention. She got it very quickly. Thanks for that.
I must also say that your Community Guidelines are well written with a subtle sense of humor coursing through most of it. Pl accept my kudos!

SRINI reported a problem in SlideShare on January 24, 2008 03:41:
Hourly quota for messagesWhen I am trying to send messages toi other contacts/users using the private message Or the Messages I cd not do so. Instead I got a message to the effect that I hv 'exceeded my hourly quota'. Now, what is that?!
I can understand you guys wanting to prevent spam and other bots playing havoc. But instead of denying the service straight away, you can possibly ask us to run a 'r u a human' test.
I happen to work in fits and starts and so it is possible i look at a a lot of slideshows within a short period and then message/share etc.
At least the next best thing wd be to let the contents of my message stick on (like Draft in Gmail) so that I need not retype (what a hassle, that is!) the whole thing.
I ll appreciate some help in this matter.
It wd also help if you publish/pop up your policy in such matters.
Tnx.

I guess it is a matter of preference latest first or traditional chronological order. Since you mentioned that, I dont in fact like Gmail's way! But there is merit in both choices.
I check email and that's my gateway to here! And that's where the whole thing started. May be you should think a little out of the box - get away from the binary mode of top down or bottom up modes to something else... I wish I cd offer a more specific suggestion right now, though!
Must say you are wonderful with quick responses. Thanks!

I am talking about GetSatisfaction pages in the sense some of the companies linked to it. For example pl look at recent Slideshare pages in GetSatisfaction wherein a complaint by one Spiderweb99 is published. There are repetitions of the original complaint with each response. I hope it is clear to you all what I am trying to suggest.

SRINI shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on January 22, 2008 18:49:
Change in the formatI found every reply to a topic carried the original description. This becomes a bit tedious. Can we have the normal thread format with the latest on top and only a single occurrence of the original topic at the bottom??
SRINI replied on January 22, 2008 18:37 to the problem "I don't know what to think of this. I can tell you that I am certainly upset about this. Someone has taken a presentation I made and uploaded here on slide share about a month ago. The name of my slide show is Cute and Funny Animals. I made this slide show from beginning to end, all 68 slides. All the wording on the presentation is also my work. I don't care if someone saves or downloads this slide show. But to save it and then upload it back here on Slide Share under their name, Well that's just to much!!! The member's profile name is Zabrom88, male,Timisoara,From Romania. They joined Slideshare Jan./08. Would you kindly look into this and get back to me concerning this matter. I would certainly be interested to see what can be done concerning this matter. I have never experienced anything like this before. Thank you Spiderweb99 :):):)" in SlideShare:
