Thanks Rashmi for the acknowledgement. I presume you are as cricket mad as I am ;)
The wonderful aspect of this is my fellow collaborator lugos has done an inspirational job responding to my request. My satisfaction comes from introducing a little bit of cricket to Hungary and getting appreciation for the game. And the congratulations for the victory (at Perth) from an outstanding Slideshare user - Spiderweb99 - who is from another cricket-unfamiliar country - Canada. It has all been made possible by Slideshare. So thank you guys!

collaborative slideshareI wish to record what slideshare has made possible. I had uploaded a slideshow recently on India's Cricket Test win at Perth. Then I was in a conversation with another slideshare user - lugos. On my request she added a bit of sound a 89 seconds applause from a Hungarian music concert and converted the slideshow to a slidecast - a first for both of us.
We are now planning another collaborative slideshow. Keep watching this space for the announcement!

Someone has taken a presentation I made and uploaded here on slide share about a month ago. The name of my slide show is Cute and Funny Animals. I made this slide show from beginning to end, all 68 slides. All the wording on the presentation is also my work. I don't care if someone saves or downloads this slide show. But to save it and then upload it back here on Slide Share under their name, Well that's just to much!!! The member's profile name is Zabrom88, male,Timisoara,From Romania. They joined Slideshare Jan./08. Would you kindly look into this and get back to me concerning this matter. I would certainly be interested to see what can be done concerning this matter. I have never experienced anything like this before. Thank you Spiderweb99 :):):)". SRINI and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.

I am glad Amit you guys have acted. Spiderweb99 has been a star user featured earlier in the credits by you guys. I remember to have even commented upon her original slideshow. A couple of days ago I was shocked to see it in some one else's name.
I appreciate you have a process to deal with these kind of acts. Probably you need to make it a preventive one that wd protect slideshare's reputation.

'share this slideshow'Slidshare: You have added a nice feature to this action: letting user pick an address from a list of non-members with whom a slideshow has been shared. Tnx.
But this is limited only 'recent 10' as of now. Any plans to make this unlimited (well, tending to infinity?!)
If the non-members addresses get added to a 'my contact list' and also draws from 'invite friends' list it would be very helpful for lazy guys like me!
After aren't we the lazy tribe that drive user friendly and quick featuresin any product or service? LOL!!!!!!!
tnx in adv!-

Scott, right now it works! So may be the bug is fixed.
I saw your mail only this morning (Hyderabad, India) and realized that you had responded just a few minutes after I hit the sack last night!
Just as I got here by clicking on the topic hyperlink in the mail (and then entered my login info to get to this reply box,) I had done the same last night too.
I did rest the password. But used the same password as the old one.
I wear thick glasses, have lots of gray hair, and am definitely absent minded - but I am not a professor! :)
I forgot what exactly I did.Hence sorry I can't supply the details to your specific questions:
"Did you make a one-time post using only your email first, and then enable the full account?
Did the email you received have the subject "Upgrade your Satisfaction profile" or was it "Welcome to Satisfaction"?"
But it is most likely I did last night what I did now - click on the hyperlink in the mail to get
here.
"I may be reading into this wrong, but it seems like maybe you are confusing your slideshare.net account with your account on getsatisfaction.com."
You aren't reading anything wrong. Day before y'day I was attempting to post a suggestion to slideshare on their site. I recd an advice to go here and post it. (That is how I came to know about your site and services!) Complying, I was asked by your site to sign in or sign up. Then signed up by creating an account here. My login details for Slideshare and Satisfaction could have been similar even though not the same.
I hope this helps. Or have I confused you. Sorry if I have done that!
All the same thanks for your prompt attention. I appreciate yourconcern to get every bug fixed and and let us getsatisfaction! ;-)

I was in slideshare.net. Wanted to post a suggestion and so clicked on the forum there which suggested I go to user forum. Clicking there I got here but when I tried to post it asked me to sign in or sign up. When i filled in user name and password it gave me the error msg to the effect sorry user name or password invalid.
I went back to my gmail looked at the mail i got from last night asking me to confirm my registration. Did that (again today) but again the same error msg. I repeated the routine again and this time it worked!
I used firefox.

It's ok. I understand. You are still in beta. And my point was to help you know the bug seem to continue even till date - even if that is a sporadic occurrence.
I appreciate your swift responses. And swinging into action.
Do keep up the good work.
And tnx again for this forum. I have always believed in the philosophy of user and doers/providers working together.
