    Email HTML formatting is off
Great service, first off. I'm having problems rendering out the HTML in the email on my Blackberry, and I've tested across others as well. So far, the only ones that render properly are the Storm and the iPhone when in landscaped view. The container element for the follower information is just far too large! Also, the text seems crammed into one bar, and when it breaks, it breaks badly-- truncated text, word wrapping, and overall unappealing to look at.

V CAST Mobile TV and the Blackberry Storm
What happened to the V Cast TV service promised for the Blackberry Storm (9530)? I really could care less about music... bring on the Mobile TV!

    Flock Synchronization
I've been praying for a Flock Sync option for a while, allowing unification across multiple PC. I can't fault the team for not making this, though I would love the feature. I may have figured out a way to do this using Live Mesh, and Mesh'ing the Flock folder. I've yet to run into any major ramification from doing so, but the plugins are migrating just fine, I need to check out the Accounts tomorrow.

I saw this in the "Virtual Tourism" preview, but nonetheless would make a great addition here-- some kind of Windows Photo Gallery plugin, perhaps synth transitions, or synth'd albums that can be published to Photosynth (instead of just spaces?)

I mean, that probably is a little out of realm here, but nonetheless, that would be incredibly useful.

    What is "Macocha"?
I love Microsoft Research and Live Labs, and I've kept up with every product thus far. What is this "Macocha"? Do you have public information about it, yet?

Hey, as an avid follower of Microsoft Research, and especially the Photosynth technology, I applaud your efforts. I see alot of really amazing uses for the synth tech, and I've already begun applying Synth to my ASP.net projects-- its invaluable, and drastically reduces time needed for an old fashioned java panorama.

In short, thank you so much for the amazing work, and don't stop doing what you're doing. I'm highly impressed, and so is everybody that I work with. Mac users and Linux, too. (Aaron.) – Daniel G, on August 22, 2008 00:47

I agree with Shafiq-- the internet is radically changing, as is the desktop. SAAS, or Software As A Service, is the new industry standard. Photosynth is an amazing technology that's in beta-- meaning development. Open standards nowadays promotes beta software for public usage so the final product can be even more incredible than the preview is.

To judge photosynth now and say its the worst combination is a little harsh for something incomplete. If you have such an issue with it, why don't you get on board for the tech preview and tell them WHY? – Daniel G, on August 22, 2008 00:43
