This seems to be Fluid-specific, and is not a problem in Safari. Furthermore, it is particular to hiding an SSB, and does not happen when minimizing and then restoring the window.
I've found this problem in both 0.9.2.4 and 0.9.2.5 using LiveTimer, although it's not particular to this app. However, please let me know if you'd like a free LiveTimer account to check this out.

I've verified that Safari does fire the onbeforeunload event, so the problem seems to be Fluid-specific. Thanks again for your help with this. -

Our web app makes extensive use of the onbeforeunload event to notify users about unsaved form data before they leave a page. Fluid doesn't seem to be firing this event. Would you please consider supporting this event?
