Richard,
I took a look and this is something you have to do in the ppt itself when you created it; if I am not wrong you have to save it as a hyperlink... only then does it get saved in a format that it is clickable...
If the link is clickable in the ppt, it will be clickable in slideshare, not otherwise...

Dear Amit
Thanks for getting back so quickly . The show with problem links is at http://www.slideshare.net/scitech/usi...
Clicking in the middle of the screen does not help; also most of the links are black characters & have lost their highlight colour (red) in PPT , suggesting that they have become inactive.
But http://www.slideshare.net/scitech/int... slide #5 does click through
best regards

I'll need to take a look at your slideshow, send u the url.
Though I think the likely problem is as follows (from our faq)
"The hyperlinks work in the player all-right; we have a back & forward action when the cursor is on the left & right side of the slideshow player; hence this masks the hyperlink on the edges... so the hyperlinks are clickable only in the middle and not on the sides... this is not ideal but a reasonable compromise till we find a fix-all solution for this problem."

how do I fix broken hyperlinksI have ppt slides with hyperlinks in the text but the links get stripped off when uploaded. Links have worked OK in the past. I can't see any obvious way to solve this
