I thought so. Everything appears to be working fine after amending the search. Thanks for the reply. – verticalbones, on October 01, 2008 09:19

Yes, I think the easiest thing would be to amend your search query in twitter search, to exclude the perfectpints tweets. – Mario Menti, on October 01, 2008 09:14

I believe my issue is slightly different as I am posting the results of a keyword search feed into a Twitter account 'perfectpints' (aggregating all tweets containing 'Guinness'), and the search is finding the tweets from 'perfectpints' the next time around and creating duplicate entries.
Any workaround for this other than excluding 'perfectpints' from the search terms? Or is that the solution?

Did you delete these duplicates, as I can't see them in your feed? I checked in the db, and there are 4 feeds posting to your account, but they all appear to be different (well, at least their URLs are different). Perhaps if this happens again, could you leave them up so I can check and take a look?

Just since yesterday I am having the problem where I get two posts of the exact same feed update at exactly the same time on Twitter, http://twitter.com/melaniejor. I have multiple feeds but this is the latest one to have issues--just happened about 20 mins. ago http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhatYouKn...
Thanks as it is embarrassing--mkaes me look like I don't know what I'm doing or spamming.

It looks like that feed is set up with a Yahoo! OpenID where the last part of the URL wasn't sent to me by Yahoo - there's a thread here about this issue. In order to fix it, could you let me know what it says *exactly* after the "logged in as" text when you log into twitterfeed using your Yahoo! OpenID. If you send me this info, I can then update the database, and you should see your feed. – Mario Menti, on July 24, 2008 09:07

My Twitter is

Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/lostintec...
I have been getting duplicates, so I deleted my main twitterfeed. I would like the other account disabled as well, so I can remake in order to have control over the posting options.

I'm going to try title only as suggested above.

I've been manually deleting duplicates but there are a few recent ones posted.

Hey digidave,
The flash webcam detection is a little weird for a mac. This is something we're speaking with adobe about.
Try this:
In the space on the left side of the recorder on your 12seconds "home" page, there should be a pull down that says "DV Video".
Try selecting USB Class Video from that pull down. Hopefully you should see your smiling face staring back at you.
Also make sure that you have no other browser windows open with the recorder loaded. And make sure that you do not have any other applications using the webcam (ichat, skype, etc.) at the same time.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks for writing! We really appreciate your feedback and the fact that you are taking the time to use the site. It means a lot to us.

nevioth - can you take a look at the plurk rss feed? I suspect that it contains a title and a description which repeat each other. In this case, simply select "title only" or "description only" in the twitterfeed settings to only post one of the two (if they're indentical, doesn't matter if you post title or description only, just not both - which is the default setting).

digidave - someone else reported a problem with Technorati OpenID yesterday, but it seems to be working as far as I can see. Perhaps they had some temporary issues..
Re. the duplicate post, yes I can see it there.. something odd going on there with the dates I suspect, although I can't see it in the feed itself. I'll keep looking though, there are a few similar issues, especially around feeds from Y! Pipes.

This isn't a generic problem, so if you experience this, please let me know your twitter account name and feed URL, so I can take a closer look. It's usually down to individual issues around the feeds themselves, or similar.
If you want to test before going live on your own twitter account, you can always create a secondary/test twitter account and post to that for testing purposes.
