bLADEwiki 4 Android: entirely impossible ? or ...Does the fact that bLADE wiki uses Pocket IE to generate it's awesomeness ... does that preclude an Android version ? 100% preclude ? or semi-possible ?

dragging the same image to bLADE wiki causes problems.Buglet: if you drag and drop the same image to the same wiki, one link stops working. When you drag the file the first time the link is [$imgs\_10_0027.jpg$] when you drag it a second time ... it is [$U:\i\_10_0027.jpg$] which doesnt seem to work.

NEW: support for drag-and-drop of (1) images, (2) files and (3 )text into Edit modeNEW: support for drag-and-drop of (1) images, (2) files and (3 )text into Edit mode. This is a great feature. I'll have to learn more about it. I take it that files are not copied to the wiki directory, so files that are not in the wiki directory, will not be copied to the synced mobile version of bLADE wiki. Two thumbs up ! I tried dragging and dropping URL links from web pages and from the browser address bar. They almost work ... the URL is copied, but no [ ] brackets to make it a link are generated.

I guess the main idea here is being able to make a link that will allow something to be done. I could see this idea having implications for things such as ....
Toggling Todo items from undone to done.
Possibly images could have a the option of having a "Dummy/Action" link beside it. So that if you clicked that Action link, a unchecked box could change to a checked box. (ie. clicking the link would (1) freeze the screen, (2) toggle the image (this would have to be defined) (ie. the two states of the image), (3) refresh the screen.
I guess it would seem seamless to the enduser.
Am I just dreaming ?

digitaldoctor replied on August 29, 2008 03:17 to the idea "additional central pictures folder for all wikis like the smileys folder" in Dale Lane:
I like both ideas
(1) having a "default" \images\ folder.
(2) being able to use images from a different wiki.
I think both ideas would be helpful, but I think it might be fairly cumbersome to find images in other wikis, so for my needs having a default images folder which could be customizable would be more useful.
In the mean time, I think a relatively practical solution exists.
(1) make a folder called "bLADEwiki.img". I am putting this on a networked drive on my LAN. It will be listed below my blade wiki directory called bLADEwiki.
(2) place all your important images in there.
(3) when you make new images that might apply to more than 1 wiki, always put them in there.
(4) when you make a new wiki ... start with plopping the entire bLADEwiki.img directory first !
Low Tech, yes.
Manageable ? Yes !

Tips for using Get Satisfaction (GS) for the Blade Wikians from phpbberTips for using Get Satisfaction (GS) for the Blade Wikians from phpbber:
Q: should all bLADE wiki threads use a bLADE wiki tag ? (or is that not needed?)
Q: any other tips Dale ?
digitaldoctor replied on August 16, 2008 03:05 to the update "What other apps would you like Get Satisfaction to integrate with?" in Get Satisfaction:
a wiki ... ie. pbwiki ! but mostly any wiki !
I think this should be a core function at GS.
You've obvioulsy avoided the traditional "FORUMS" format, seemingly on purpose. I feel a wiki would be more compatible with your approach.
You mentioned you were going to provide information to companies on what the users were trying to find information on ...etc. Well, that really will only happend if good information is provided. A wiki could provide good information (FAQs, whatever) to the end users.-
