Tips for using Get Satisfaction (GS) for the Blade Wikians from phpbberTips for using Get Satisfaction (GS) for the Blade Wikians from phpbber:
Q: should all bLADE wiki threads use a bLADE wiki tag ? (or is that not needed?)
Q: any other tips Dale ?

a wiki ... ie. pbwiki ! but mostly any wiki !
I think this should be a core function at GS.
You've obvioulsy avoided the traditional "FORUMS" format, seemingly on purpose. I feel a wiki would be more compatible with your approach.
You mentioned you were going to provide information to companies on what the users were trying to find information on ...etc. Well, that really will only happend if good information is provided. A wiki could provide good information (FAQs, whatever) to the end users.-

If you want to learn about what problems users are having ...
How will your company make money?
We are going to be rolling out services that allow companies to increase their engagement -- communications tools for interacting with customers, analytics tools for understanding users and the problems they're having.
being to analyze what FAQs/Wiki items they click on would be important.

Should Get Satisfaction should offer a Wiki ?I feel that Get Satisfaction should offer a Wiki for things like documentation and FAQs and general information pages. Obviously one of the types of links in the wiki would be to tags.
digitaldoctor replied on August 16, 2008 02:28 to the problem "Users turned off by registration process" in Get Satisfaction:
I think a range of options is important. From a simple Post your thoughts with no sign up ... to a we are going to ask for your VISA number to sign up is what is needed. Each getsatisfaction site can decide what they want. As was said, how about an option where "Anonymous" / Non-signed in users will have their posts not show up on the site but actually go to an administrator's email ? Best of both worlds ? :)
A comment on the problem "Users turned off by registration process" in Get Satisfaction:
>>>>>When we launched the system, we actually did have what is essentially an "anonymous" account type as you suggest, and it was a horrible experience all around that we had to remove -- particularly because the companies were asking us to!<<<<
Well, that depends on the volume or your site. Possibly all "Anonymous" or non-signed in stuff could go to a particular section ... possibly to a TAG that only administrators can see ? Just an idea. – digitaldoctor, on August 16, 2008 02:21-
