Thank you very much for your honest comment. We have delayed for many months in recreating kinCompass from scratch, including context content. Videos, and new features, along with simple promptings as to 'why' are coming very soon. If you have specific questions, I can include them in the content. However, this calendar is already observed throughout all of nature and inside humanity. Really, kinCompass provides the ability to calculate dates and store them, see burners, tun spirals, etc - which is value in the context of an existing tradition. I am sorry in the meantime - I am really just failing to connect to the existing tradition properly.

Hi Nathan,

The Dreamspell calendar is a calendar which uses symbols and names *like* the mayan calendar, but gives them new meanings. It works like this -

The Maya used a Universe calendar, not a galactic or planetary calendar - so when dreamspell uses the "day out of time" and follows a lunar cycle, it is not using a universal rhythm, but a solar one. Also, if the energies in the universe are vital, we cannot be without them, and we ARE those energies -- how can a day have no energy?

Then, to top it all off, the calendar dreamspell uses is started on a different day, and that day even changes more and more when a "day out of time" happens. All in all, the dreamspell calendar is a totally different calendar.

That is strange, because I have asked other people to download it and they are able to. Either way, we are releasing a totally new version of kinCompass in the near future. I have been dedicating all my time to producing that, and there are even Wall Posters! I have many different customizable calendars, etc. Thank you so much for your patience James. I'm working as quickly as I can.

That feature is coming in with the shift from PHP to Ruby for kinCompass. That has to do with the code we wrote it in. We have a far more advanced version to release in Ruby, within the new few weeks. Thanks a lot for your patience as we change over, and let me know if you have anything else you'd like to see!

Thanks Damon. You can check out 12seconds.tv for an example. Their interface is HTML/Ajax vs. yours which seems to be 99% flash, like seesmic's black interface. Either way, I'm sure you guys can swing this no problem.

It would be cool to be able to download / upload videos.

A link beside videos with "download in X format" and a link beside the record interface with "upload video" would both be great features.

That way we can record video messages away from our computers and send them later. And we can retain video and alter it for our personal video histories.
