Miro 1.2.8 doesn't convert FLV videos!I have just upgraded to version 1.2.8 of Miro (for Windows) and it is no longer converting flv files to MP4. Was this intentional? Is there anyway to re-activate the feature?

How to stop fans sending me spam-shouts?There are people on Digg who are my "fans", and they are sending me (what I call) "spammy shouts". I want to block their shouts, although I cannot find an obvious way of doing this. Can someone please tell me how I can block shouts from specific users on Digg.com.
Thank you.

I am dual booting XP and Ubuntu, and I want to do the same thing, and have found exactly the same problem as you.
I had a go at fixing it in the same way that people can use the same Firefox profile across multiple operating systems. LIke Firefox and Thunderbird, Miro as a "profiles.ini" file.
So, I installed Miro in Ubuntu, and edited the profiles.ini file to point to my XP Miro's profile folder. However, it didn't work.
After some more detailed investigation, I discovered it was because the directory and file structure of a Miro profile in Linux is totally different to the structure of Miro profile in Windows! This is not the case for Windows and Linux versions of other Mozilla based applications.
Therefore, I think what is needed is for Miro profiles to be standardised across all platforms.
In the meantime, I have no other solution. So I am going to have to have Miro installed on both operating systems, and download all my programs twice, one for each operating system. Hardly an elegant solution!-

Songbird autoplays when I log into XP after coming out of stand by!I have just started using Songbird with XP Home SP3, and have an issue with coming out of stand by / suspend. I will pause the track I'm listening to, then go into stand by. When I return and turn my laptop back on, as soon as I enter my password at the XP welcome screen, Songbird automatically starts playing the song again. I don't know if this is intended behaviour, but I hope not. I also cannot find an option pertaining to this behaviour.
Any suggestions on how to make it NOT do this?
Thanks for reading.
