Yep - it should work like this. Also, I've noticed that if I use the keyboard to browse the timeline, the highlight on the menu bar icon only clears if I use the scrollbar - instead of clearing when the last unread tweet is *selected*. – Dinis Correia, on May 04, 2009 20:16

Hmm you can simply import your Tumblr's RSS into Facebook. Simply go to your Facebook profile, click the 'Settings' option on your Wall pagethen click the "...automatically import activity..." link, choose 'Blog/RSS' and write your Tumblr RSS url.

It gets even worse if you are using the FriendFeed app on Facebook. I also use Ping.fm to update my status on Facebook *and* status updates on Twitter and Pownce - and the FF app display all the dupes.

Well, I *love* like the idea - however, I now feel that the options for some services should be redefined.

When I hit 'Post', all my services are selected - say, Twitter and Ping.fm. But since I also want to have my Twitter account on Ping.fm, I would end with a double post.

I think services that allow you to post updates should now have an option to disable the post feature for that specific service.

(Am I making any sense?)

Congratulations on the initiative.

However, I don't see how TwitterNotes can be useful right now. If I'm text-messaging Twitter, it means I have a cell phone I can use to write a note. Same thing if I'm using Twitter on a computer. Also, my notes aren't usually public updates, so I'd rather not share those on the Twitter timeline.

Still, it's great to see a new service built around Twitter. Keep up the good work.
