Dario Zgrablic asked a question in IntenseDebate on June 23, 2009 13:25:
"Disconnecting" Facebook ConnectWell, this is pretty simple question: Is there any way to "disconnect" your Facebook Connect from you IntenseDebate? Here's why.
When I connected my ID and my Facebook Connect, I was expecting some form of integration between ID and my Facebook Connect profile, but have yet to see any. Add to that, I can't track my comments across either service. Any comments posted using my Facebook Connected Intense Debate are not tracked by Intense Debate NOR Facebook. To me, that seems pretty pointless.
I'd rather not have my Facebook Connect connected, and use my ID separate from Facebook.
Is there any way of basically separating the two, because as of now, I can't be logged into Facebook and ID within the same browser (whether that be Firefox or Chrome) on our site without it automatically logging me into Facebook Connect within ID on our site, which I don't want.
Thanks in advance,
Dario

User Rep Reset Possible?I've got a minor problem and a question connected to it.
One of our recently-regular commenters has a -58p rep due to the fact that he posted a comment in a caption contest (http://www.360sync.com/2009/03/04/hal...), however due to the overall negative rating of _all_ of the comments, his rep dropped like a rock, and he went way below.
Is there any way of resetting his rep back to zero or nulling that specific comment's rep?
Edit: actually, looking at some ratings now, quite a few of our regulars have taken quite a hit on their rep.-

Dario Zgrablic reported a problem in IntenseDebate on January 22, 2009 14:24:
Unable to reply after posting a commentWhenever I comment on a blog post, the first comment is fine. However, after that, I'm unable to post a reply to someone else's comment that comes after mine. This used to happen intermittently, but now it's happening on every single post. So then, instead of posting a reply comment, I have to post a regular comment and address it at the person.
For an example, take a look at the comments here: http://www.360sync.com/2009/01/19/gea...
I've included a screenshot from my point of view. Oh and when this happens, the final comment box also gets shrunk.
signficantly and I can't see what I'm typing for the vast majority of the comment.

I'm having problems with this, exactly like Andrey... Well not exactly, because it was my comment, and someone replied to me, and I can't reply back to them.
Here's where it's happened most recently. It has happened before.

HA! Profanity filters are usually easily bypassed. And what if it's not profanity? Yea. I thought so. – Dario Zgrablic, on January 05, 2009 17:34

It's painfully obvious that you don't see the problem. Comments can be "quality comments" AND have a need to be edited. A really good explanation for something but with some swearing can be a quality comment and have a need to be edited. Taking out the swear-words would make the comment essentially, perfect. See it? – Dario Zgrablic, on January 05, 2009 15:03

Direct replies to phoneHey, I sent in an email about this a little while ago via the twitter-site-help, and I'm hoping that someone took note of it. I wanted to post it here just to see how many others would want this feature too. The access key to the original request was '228262pzwneb' but since it's been closed, it's no publicly viewable.
I would like to see the option, alongside 'On,' 'Off,' and 'Direct messages,' to have an option of direct replies being sent to my phone. So if I post something via text, that anyone that '@' replies to it I get txt'd about. It would be a great idea and it would be the option I'd use.
Thanks again,
Dario

Yea, we would need that too, although we could have them register to qualify. Frankly though, we don't like forcing our users to do things like that. – Dario Zgrablic, on May 21, 2008 18:18
