Hmmm, to remove @todo section from the Daily Digest delete @todo tag from the Tags to keep top-of-mind field. However, if you have items that only have @todo tag, they will dissapear from your Daily. In my case, all my @todo items are either @home or @office that's why I was able to get rid of the @todo section. You need to find your way to organize your @todo's.

Thanks for your reply. I added my custom tags in Tags to keep top-of-mind, but still all the items appear under To-dos, not under my tags. In your case, it would be like all the items that should be under office and home instead appear under To-dos. – DK, on June 27, 2008 13:21

Hmm, if I understood your post correctly, you cannot see the checkboxes next to the @todo items that are categorized by your custom tags in the Daily Digest?
Well, it's strange because these checkboxes show up in my Daily:

In order to have that, you just need to customize the Daily Digest, and in the Tags to keep top-of-mind field just enter your custom todo tags. I put: @home, @office, @expenses, @shopping and removed the @todo tag.

Frustration trying to sort daily digest by tagSorting the daily digest by tag does not seem to work.
What i want is pretty simple, and I'd think others would want it too. I want all my to-do items for today to be displayed in the daily digest (a) with a checkbox and (b) sorted under headings by tag. To get the checkbox, I have to use @todo, so I end up with two tags for each to-do item: @todo and @whatever-category.
When I do this, though, all of the items show up under "To-dos" and do not show up under "@whatever-category." This just isn't useful and defeats the purpose of applying category tags.
I've been playing around with this for several days and am beginning to think it would be easier to use some other solution (not Sandy) for tracking To-dos. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some other solution with Sandy?-

Tags to keep top-of-mind not working as expectedI started with just an @todo tag. All was well.
Then I added an @projects tag and used Customize to add @projects to the list of tags to keep in mind. I got a separate @projects entry on my daily digest, exactly as I expected and wanted.
Then I added another tag, @errands, and added this tag to the list of tags to keep in mind. This broke the categorization of the daily digest - the @todo, @projects, and @errands items all appeared under To-Dos, instead of in three separate lists in the digest.
So far, I have not found a way to fix this.

Sandy already does this. On the digest page, click "customize" and then add your tags. Note that "@todo" is just another tag, you can move it around or remove it entirely.
There was an update about a month ago which eliminated the same item from showing up again in different sections of the digest. If an item had multiple tags that were included in the "customize" field, then it would appear in each section. After the update some people said that they wanted the item to appear in each section, so a workaround was created. If I remember correctly, it's to put ?dups=1 at the end of the digest URL.

Categorized daily digest would be a huge improvement! My #1 wish is to be able to tell Sandy which items to display on the daily digest by selecting one or more tags and to have items sorted by tag on the daily digest. So, for example, in addition to @todo, I might use tags like @projects, @errands, @phonecalls, and then have my daily digest with 4 separate sections: to-do, projects, errands, phonecalls. Basically, this would give me a categorized daily digest.

Hi folks,
This is one of those things that folks go back and forth on: as I mentioned in the release notes for the update, it is one of our most asked for interface enhancements.
That said, I have some more updates coming in the next couple of days that will -- among other things -- afford you the choice of having and expanded or contracted view of things.
