Agreed - as a UK user - Twitter has already stuck two fingers up at us long ago - and so the first I heard of this was todays email - hardly much notice :-(

Rael - whilst I agree that we can't expect much from a free service I would have thought a note saying "Sandy has been taken over by Twitter but everythings continuing as before" wouldn't have been too hard. Then Twitter could have slowly migrated us over to their new service.

I for one won't trust or use anything with Twitters name attached to it ever again - their customer service and loyalty stinks :-( – DMee, on December 06, 2008 01:16

Dunno about receiving but I was a bit miffed to find the 10p per text charge whacked onto my bill last 2 months - weird cos I am sure I was using previously and not getting charged :-(

You could sort them on normal Sandy front page by using the "Customise" option top right of the daily digest white "page" (i.e. not top of web page, just white area where sandy writes the digest).

In there you can opt to separate out certain tags and they separate out in the order you type them so typing

@1 @2 @3 @4 @5 @Todo @shopping @work etc etc etc

Produces

@1
Pay X
Do Y

@2
Sort out B

@3
Ring Z

etc etc

Also uses this sort in your emailed Daily Digest

For multiple tags you get them in full for the first tag they match then a note at the end of the other tags e.g.

@todo
Do gardening

Seems we need to differentiate between something we need ugging about daily until we've done it and then stop bugging, and somethig we need reminding about everyday and keep bugging tomorrow.

I suppose I have to learn to "forget" my daily todo if I no longer want remining but not intuitive

I had a daily reminder that I clicked on the link in the Daily Digest to mark as done. It now shows on site as @Daily @Done - and I am still getting reminders :-(

I have a reminder for a birthday. As I can only one "reminder" I set it for 3 weeks before to remind me to get present. I then wanted to set it for 2 weeks before but only this up and coming birthday. When I go to web site it says "do you really want to edit whole set" but there's no "No just this one occurence" option :-(

I realise i could have replied to Sandy's twitter with "Remind me in a week" but there's no way of seeing this is there? And there's no way of doing this if you inadvertantly deleted the twitter or email :-(

Simplest way is to use the "New" menu item top right. Enter the values in the relevant boxes. Use tags (start with @) to designate certain things - the help files have the full list. Or you can do all of this by emailing Sandy on the special email address she should have sent you when you logged on initially (you can double check this / change it using settings option top right).

Might be better if you gave us an example and we told you how to tell it to Sandy?

I have been using Twitter OK in UK then found this thread and activated o2 mmail OK - you have to enter your mobile number as international number i.e.
07712341234 becomes +447712341234
and choose o2 in drop down (not "other")
Now not sure which is best as Sandy version comes as 2 SMS because email header takes up so many characters and you have to reply to first SMS to get second half! Twitter just sends reminder text.
After all that worying I may just stick with twitter!!
