It's a great site, a compelling idea and well implemented but it is REALLY slow at times and very flaky

Not convinced about the non-freeness. Surely any dev will just write code that removes the ads anyway...

Presuming your revenue stream is based on song clicks as well as ads..?

API looked exciting. And then I realised

1) It is being provided in C and not something hackable for general web programmers (read REST, etc etc)

2) You need a premium account

C'mon guys. Learn from everyone else in this space - you need easy, open and free. Then the apps will flow.

I'm interested in the way in which you've split the budget. Given that this is a beta, and a few people have pointed out that changes will be forthcoming: what percentage of the original budget is still available to fix the issues with the beta? What is the roadmap spend for the next few weeks and months? And how will you prioritise these fixes?

That's a foolish misreading of the terms. Obviously (or at least to me...?), the entire music catalogue of the world isn't on Spotify. I'd be slightly spooked out if it was. Have just created an account - all worked fine. The thing is, I'm not about to invest my time in putting in any content until I know I can get it out again. I couldn't find a feed / api / data dump? Until there is one, I don't think I'll be using the app...

On the "person X is following you" email:

1. put the number that the person is following/has following.
2. include a block button directly on the email
3. include the last 5 posts from that person
4. put a block button on the mobile version, too
