dmje asked a question in NMOLP on March 06, 2009 10:22:
What budget is remaining?I'm interested in the way in which you've split the budget. Given that this is a beta, and a few people have pointed out that changes will be forthcoming: what percentage of the original budget is still available to fix the issues with the beta? What is the roadmap spend for the next few weeks and months? And how will you prioritise these fixes?-

A comment on the question "Where is The Beatles?" in Spotify:
That's a foolish misreading of the terms. Obviously (or at least to me...?), the entire music catalogue of the world isn't on Spotify. I'd be slightly spooked out if it was. The /about/ page is saying that ~of the music available~, there are no restrictions to what you can listen to... – dmje, on November 06, 2008 22:30

Getting my stuff out againHave just created an account - all worked fine. The thing is, I'm not about to invest my time in putting in any content until I know I can get it out again. I couldn't find a feed / api / data dump? Until there is one, I don't think I'll be using the app...

Surely that would be done by Twitter themselves? If they notice accounts that are consistently being blocked, they'd make moves to add them to their spam queue..? – dmje, on July 28, 2008 15:59

I don't think new users work like that, IMO. I certainly didn't. And besides, the followee still gets the chance to ok the follower - it just gives a good indication of a likely spam account – dmje, on July 27, 2008 12:35

Good point, but I guess if private then just leave out. The most important thing is the ratio of "following" to "followers"...in fact, that might be a useful metric...? – dmje, on July 15, 2008 13:38

4 easy ideas to block twitter spamMake it easier to see the spammers
On the "person X is following you" email:
1. put the number that the person is following/has following.
2. include a block button directly on the email
3. include the last 5 posts from that person
4. put a block button on the mobile version, too
