Hello Richard, I am looking forward to the rss export too. And, I hope to export the rss feed of my entries' comments. In fact, I post more comments than new diary entries. Would you please meet my little request?
Thank you:)

Hi,
We're 100% behind users being able to access all their data. We have implemented the Latest Updates feed and plan to offer an RSS feed of each of your diaries that you can page through so can effectively access all content you have created. Keep an eye on our blog for feature updates and thanks for letting use know!
Richard.

Getting my stuff out againHave just created an account - all worked fine. The thing is, I'm not about to invest my time in putting in any content until I know I can get it out again. I couldn't find a feed / api / data dump? Until there is one, I don't think I'll be using the app...

Surely that would be done by Twitter themselves? If they notice accounts that are consistently being blocked, they'd make moves to add them to their spam queue..? – dmje, on July 28, 2008 15:59

I don't think new users work like that, IMO. I certainly didn't. And besides, the followee still gets the chance to ok the follower - it just gives a good indication of a likely spam account – dmje, on July 27, 2008 12:35

one has to be careful about simple solutions like that with the ratio - if someone is a beginner and is following a lot of people to explore twitterverse for later selection of the best, you should not punish his omnivore manners; best there are some individual restrictions in the settings (e.g. 3 grades of protectedness)-

The ratio metric would be cast-iron reliable, but it's typical a reasonable indicator I agree. – Wrestlevania, on July 15, 2008 16:30-
