My album art is appearing as black squares in the album list view on my iPhone!

This album art displays fine on my Mac as well as coverflow on the iPhone. But when I am scrolling through the albums some of them are simply black squares! What is going on!?

Hi,

There are two common issues that can cause this.

1. Inadequate Permissions - In order to see vacancies that your colleagues have created you must first ensure you have permission to view them. Ask your BRS System Administrator if you have access to view your colleagues vacancies. If you do not they can set this up.

2. Confusion on the search tools - By default BigRedSky only shows you vacancies that belong to you. Generally a vacancy belongs to you when you are the one that has created the vacancy. To find you colleagues vacancies simply click on the "Search" tab from the "Vacancies/Vacancy Search" page. Then in the "Search Form" below, on the "Owner" field, select either the colleague that owns the vacancy you are searching for or "Select from List"

Hi,

Whilst we encourage all clients to have their managers login to BigRedSky to directly view and manage their candidates we understand that this is simply not viable for all organisations.

At the moment the best way to notify managers on vacancy updates is to use the "Application Notification" functionality on the vacancy "Details" page.

SImply select whether you wish to send the notification daily, weekly or when applications close. Then choose who you would like to send them to.

Once this is done the recipient will receive an email with the job title, advertising close date, total number of applications received to date and a list of the 50 most recent applications.

Hi Ian,

You still have the ability to send an email as the current user and merge fields that relate to the current user are under the heading of "User Fields". The "User Fields" should be accessible from the recruitment centre and the system administrator.

Hi Ian,

A design we are looking at for the next release of BigRedSky will take all the functions/buttons at the bottom of the applcations list page and have them sit permanently at the top so that they are always visible as you scroll down. The early feedback we have received is that this will dramatically increase productivity in BRS. I would be most eager to hear your opinion.

Hi Ian,

After speaking with our development team they have let me know that this functionality should be in the next release of BigRedSky.

Just one of the improvements we will be making to the Applications list page is the ability to specifically choose the page number you want to view. Whilst you will not be able to specifically choose to list the "A's", "M's" or "R's" this should dramatically improve the time it takes to find the page you want.
