Hi,

Can you try to delete SpaceSuit's preference file in your home folder under Library/Preferences. The file is com.docklandsoft.spacesuit.plist .

Is there anything specific to the applications with the small icons?
Fantasktik is using a very simple API that requests the icon from the Application bundle. So the problem could be caused by Fantasktik picking up the wrong bundle location or a bug in the API in Snow Leopard (I doubt it since nobody else reported a similar issue).

1. FruitMenu is an haxie and I don't want to mess with undocumented stuff with Fantasktik. I did that with Sidekick in the first versions of Fantasktik and it was a support nightmare.

2. Did anything change in your Applications folder? I don't have any issue with the icons in SL.

I need to look at the desktop icon issue.

Regarding the menu bar, unfortunately there is no way to fix it. The bar shows the background set through the regular desktop preferences but doesn't show any window that would be put under it.

That would be a cool feature but I don't think there's a way for third party programs to change what is displayed in this overview.

Regarding the menu bar, it can't be fixed unfortunately. Apple coded the bar in a way that only shows the background chosen in System Preferences.

You can turn off SpaceSuit notifications for Growl by opening Growl preference pane and unchecking SpaceSuit in the Applications panel.

I don't think I'll implement it. Spaces and the desktop don't provide any information on the transition and it would be almost impossible to sync with the space transitions.

ok I've just checked and it's crashing with VoiceOver so it's still a Safari bug.
Unfortunately there's not much I can do about it. Apple needs to fix it.

I noticed that Safari 4.0.2 was working now with the Apple Store but I didn't check with other websites.

Fantasktik installs a standard accessibility listener on the applications, so I think there is still a bug in Safari/Webkit.
Are you able to reproduce it by turning off Fantasktik and enabling VoiceOver?

Hi Enrique,

You can already do c).
Click on the bar and drag it to the left or right and it will scroll.

The icon collapse can be performed by double-clicking on the app icon. If you double-click on Mail app icon, it will hide all the windows icons. If you double-click on the app again, it will show the windows.

I like the idea of a single list box.
However I'm not sure about the Smart hiding thing. Adding this kind of rules never really works as expected. I'd rather add a hotkey to add/hide the front application in Fantasktik.

PS: hide completely hides Fantasktik whereas auto-hide shows/partially hides Fantasktik when you hover on the bar.

1) sounds like a good idea. I will add an option for that in a future release.

2) I wanted to add it in 1.4 but it was a bit more complicated than I thought. I will definitely add it in 1.4.x or 1.5

3) I'll think about it as the application filter panel is starting to get a bit crowded :)
