Don Nunn asked a question in Twitter on September 19, 2009 02:53:
Why can't I delete my mobile device from my Twitter account?I can't delete my mobile phone from my Twitter account. When I click the "Delete and start over?" button on http://twitter.com/devices, I get a fail-whale screen on the URL http://twitter.com/devices/destroy/12... indicating Twitter is over capacity (see screenshot)
.
My carrier recently changed from Verizon Wireless to AT&T Wireless and I didn't try deleting the device until after that change. No idea if it contributes.-

Note doesn't cross-post to Twitter if you aren't checked in at the locationI have sharing set to post notes on Brightkite to my Twitter account as well, but I've noticed the notes don't cross-post to Twitter if I post a note at a location where I'm not checked in.
That is, if I search for a location on Brightkite's mobile site and then post a note to that location without checking in there, the update doesn't appear on Twitter. I'll do this sometimes as I'm traveling when I want to post a location-specific note but I don't want to check in at that location, say at an intersection where I want to make an observation about traffic or whatever, but I don't to bother checking in there.
But if I post a note at a location where I'm checked in, the note posts to Twitter in due time.
Is this intended function? The sharing settings don't make this clear at all, if that's the case.

Don Nunn asked a question in Twitter on April 30, 2008 01:49:
Is there a known problem with SMS notification to Verizon Wireless users?Several times in the last two days, when I load the Twitter home page http://twitter.com/home, I see a red notification box: "Is your phone okay?" It tells me notifications have been turned off to my phone because of some problem with delivery.
My phone is receiving and sending text messages from all other sources without problems, and tweets I send to Twitter from my phone go through just fine. I have turned on phone notifications four times now, and I know of at least one other Twitter user who has a Verizon Wireless phone and has experienced a similar problem. But a few hours after I turn notifications back on, I load the Twitter home page and see the red banner again, and have to turn notifications on once more.-
