There may be an issue with live videos that hit the max recording time of one hour. We are checking that issue now. For now, if you stop your show just before the one hour max time limit is reached, that should avoid the problem.

Just to clarify, the upload part seems to occur OK, but when you hit "Broadcast" the "Transcoding" dialog just sits there for a long time, and the show never shows up. Is that correct?

Some additional info may help us. How big is the file(s) you are trying to upload?

Are you producing by clicking the "Produce" tab at the top of the player, or using the "Advanced Producer" tool?

Just to try to understand the problem better, I currently see as the most recent show:

Are there other new shows that you are expecting after this one?

If so, my first inclination is that these other shows have failed to upload from the N95 device. If you can access one of the devices, you can navigate to the

Kyte Producer App
Upload Status

Then check the two different tabs, Active and Pending to see if the shows in question are still in the upload queue. If the show is still in Pending, you can select it and Resend to start the upload again.

We will have a fix for the issue soon. In the meantime, you can try plugging in a webcam to your computer and then refresh the page, that should get rid of the purple bar.

Sorry to hear your flash load is still sticking at 5%. If you haven't already tried, sometimes clearing your browser's web cache will clear up an issue like this.

If that doesn't help, can you tell us a little about your network setup? Do you know if you are behind a firewall (eg, in a corporate environment). Are you using Mac or PC, and which web browser are you using? Any info you can provide may help us solve the problem. Thanks.

It sounds like you are seeing the mobile web version of the channel instead of the desktop version. Do you see a flash player with a message inside, or is it more like a simple web page with text that says "Unable to play video".

If you're seeing the mobile web version (simple web page with text) of the site, tell us which web browser you are using, and for now, try a different browser.

The wordpress embed code is for use on blogs hosted on wordpress.com. If you are using your own hosted version of wordpress, you can use the regular html embed code. I just double checked and the wordpress embed code is working as expected on wordpress.com blogs. Hope this helps.

Just to follow up, we do have a content backup process, which is different for free accounts vs. paying partner level accounts. Your files are outside of the backup window and are thus not recoverable. Sorry for the inconvenience.
