I used Mediatemple for over a year and never had a single problem. My company also hosts their website with Mediatemple and it has been nothing but reliable. The few times I have had to call Mediatemples support, they've always been very supportive and helpful.

I am of course speaking of their (dv) hosting. I have no experience with the grid service package so I can't speak for everyone.
