I really care a lot about what program others use an thus would like to have the option to see it. Double-clicking a tweet to see the conversation shows increased interest in the on-goings and that wouldn't clog up the main window which I suppose is the reason for this not being in there...

Couldn't Desktop Tweetie be set up as a mini-server for the purpose of pushing tweet notifications to iPhone Tweetie 3.0? Many people have their Macs running when not at home and for them that would be an easy solution, would it not?

I wouldn't like it. Numbers getting high and all just leads to neurotic behaviour in the long run. If anything, make it an option. I prefer not to look up when I climb stairs. It makes you feel bad to see there are too many...
