You Did It!

I made sure my old Yuuguu was no longer installed, downloaded your new installer, reboted Win2K, ran the installer and ran the program. It started without any problems. I tested it by sharing my wife's WinXP screen and controlling it. No Problems.

I have been using Yuuguu successfully under Win 2K for about a year. About 3 weeks ago, I started having the problem in this thread. When the problem first started, Yuuguu would launch and after about a minute would terminate with the message "Error occurred while launching. Please reinstall Yuuguu." Now, I get that message immediately. But I also get another message that hasn't been reported previously in this thread. I get a dialog box titled "javaw.exe - Entry Point Not Found" containing the message "The procedure entry point PrintWindow could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll."

I have tried uninstalling Yuuguu, rebooting Windows, downloading the latest version of Yuuguu and reinstalling it but the problem has remained. I have tried un-commenting the config file line that says "#yuuguu.logging.level=INFO" and also adding the line "yuuguu.logging.level=ALL". Niether change altered the problem and neither change resulted in anything appearing in the log file.

I even tried renaming USER32.dll, hoping that it would be rebuilt when Windows rebooted. That turned out to be a VERY BAD idea and it took lots of time and all my tricks to get my system running again. Now that it is back up, the Yuuguu problem is no different.

I hope with this extra info about the entry point that you can give me a way to fix things. I rely on Yuuguu to work remotely on my customer's machines.
