Doug replied on October 02, 2008 00:13 to the question "Problem with nokia E61i" in Xumii:
Hi,
I have a Nokia E61 here. It is similar to the E61i, but a little older.
The key mapping works ok on the Nokia E61. My developer's intuition says it should be the same for the E61i and that maybe the way we organize our signin screen is a little confusing. Here are some things to check:
1) The PIN entry field is highlighted orange.
2) The PIN is numbers only and entered by hitting the blue number keys in the picture. There is no need to press the "number shift" key in the bottom left corner although it should still work.

Thanks for your feedback - as a company just launching and trying to grow our range of supported devices we really appreciate it. I'm especially glad to hear from somebody who knows what a user agent is :-)
I think I see you hitting our download server at 13:50 GMT as an HTC Kaiser that has some history in Vodafone. Here' the user agent I was looking at: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) Vodafone/1.0/SFR_v1615/1.56.163.9.
At the moment we have only released a Java application. We have targeted some AT&T and Sprint HTC devices that have Java but are aware not all Windows Mobile devices come packaged with Java and that a native application can provide tighter device integration. After a quick search I think yours does have Java. We are watching carefully who shows interest in our application in order to focus our effort (e.g. iPhone vs.Net Windows Mobile).
Right now if you have Java and can hit us with a specific user agent try:
HTC-8900/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6)
That looks like an AT&T HTC Tilt. We'll do our own testing and and update this thread once we can support the Kaiser officially.
Doug replied on September 10, 2008 05:42 to the question "Can't download on HTC Touch (Sprint)?" in Xumii:
I have reproduced your download problem using a Sprint HTC Touch and am about to try to fix it. I will post an update when we know more about when this will be available.
Finally, the model displayed (Hermes) was incorrect. We use a third-party set of data to find the brand and model from the request the device browser sends to our server. The exact request match for your HTC Touch was not in this data set and the web page tried to find the closest match. Since this produced a confusing result we will change this to only display the model name if there is an exact match.
Many thanks for your feedback - it has been very helpful.
