Why can't I just click the big check-in box on my user page to check in? Can I only check in from the applications???

When a friend request comes through, I have to go to the person's profile, then go to the me link and accept. Why not just have an accept link on their profile page?

How about an 'update screenshot' button? I noticed that the image for my blog is quite out of date, I'd love to be able to initiate an updated screenshot.
