Still no luck but I have found a way round the issue for anybody experiencing it. Just keep clicking through until you reach a 'page not found' (I think they appear if you click 'TV' and then when you choose certain channels). There's a search box on the error page, and you can type the name of the program in and it takes you back to the old interface and you can keep browsing from there.
It's a shame not to be able to browse using the new Wii-friendly version, but hopefully they will fix it soon.

downstage reported a problem in BBC on October 23, 2008 19:46:
iPlayer has stopped working on my WiiI was thrilled when I found out I could watch iPlayer on my Wii and have used it religiously ever since. But it's completely stopped working.
I go to the iPlayer homepage and instead of the normal page it has only a few items displayed. This seems like a great idea for browsing with the Wii but none of the links work. Either I click something and nothing happens, or I get page errors. When I browse by channel, the lists are empty, and on any pages with programme lists the scroll buttons don't work.
I just performed a Wii system update - I don't know if that's got anything to do with it? All other sites have been working as normal.-

downstage asked a question in Google on July 21, 2008 10:46:
Google thinks we are a spyware application and won't let us search!Since Friday, everyone in our office is frequently getting an error message saying that Google thinks we are spyware when we try to do a search.
We are presented with a page asking us to enter a captcha. There is no submit button but if you tap in the captcha and hit enter, it works (sometimes!).
How can we solve this?

The worst and most frequent offender is still Boxes and Arrows (http://www.boxesandarrows.com/)

I thought things were much better, but all of my feeds have just refreshed and it's saying I have 26 unread items (but I've read them). Is this a problem that just affects firefox users? I'm running FF2 too. Also I wondered if it might get worse if you have too many feeds, as I've seen it getting worse recently. Is there a maximum recommended number of feeds?

I've cleared my cache again. The following feeds are still misbehaving:
http://www.boxesandarrows.com/
http://www.456bereastreet.com/
http://www.lukew.com/ff/
But perhaps, as you say, it will just take a little time. I'll report back if the problem continues.

Immediately following that post, all 15 (read) items in another feed have appeared as unread! The feed is Boxes and Arrows: http://www.boxesandarrows.com/

It really is quite random; I wouldn't say it can be "reproduced" exactly because it seems that it can happen to any item(s) in any feeds, at any time!
This morning I logged on and supposedly had 16 unread items across 5 feeds, of which only two were genuinely unread. I cleared those again. Just now (a little over an hour later) NetVibes reported 8 unread items on one feed (http://www.etre.com/blog/), and only two were unread. Sometimes it can happen even when there are no new items on the page whatsoever.
It isn't exactly stopping me from using NetVibes, it's jus ta little irritating.

Read items are randomly appearing as unreadI have a tab on my Netvibes page that has a number of RSS feeds. Periodically, these feeds will revert to being "unread" although I've read all the items. Some feeds reset in this way over and over again.
Strangely, some feeds have just recently started having just some of their items marked as unread, rather than every item in the feed; these appear to be quite random!
It's a little frustrating when I'm trying to see what is genuinely new, unread comtent. I reported the fault when I first noticed it to NetVibes and they said they'd look into it. But that was when it was just occurring on one feed; now it's happening all over the place. I've cleared the cache etc but as yet have found no solution.
Does this happen to anyone else?
