Hi Peter,
In case you are not aware of this opensource swf player tool, you may want to check out http://flowplayer.org/index.html... it could be the tool to do this job nicely for you.

It is a little disconcerting to say the least. I think WL and the personality of EG went a long way to building consumer's confidence in SocialGo and their widgets went a long way to shoring up missing functionality and adding new features. EG also provided a very useful layer of user help that is not so forthcoming from SG.
I will be sorry to see them go but i can understand and summise that the amount of work was not commensurate with the sales achievements, which i personally think lies in the pricing plans of SocialGo. I really think that the layout manager needs to be available in all plans and then their widget market place would be a lot more viable for third parties.
SocialGo is the best social network product out there currently and will no doubt survive the loss of WL but it is sad to see such a good partner leave the fold so soon.-

Thanks for the quick response Chris:) but my bad, i didn't explain myself so clearly... I was meaning more of an API integration of Cooliris (which i know is possible) where images and videos can be viewed inline in the drop without relying on the Cooliris plugin having been installed by the users?
The problem with opening up a new Cooliris window (using the plugin) to view the content is 1) that the user must have the plugin installed and 2) that the user cannot make a comment on an image or video for the drop because the viewing is under Cooliris control and no longer drop.io.
Hope i explained my point clearer this time:)

Image and video viewingIt would be very cool for you to enable Cooliris viewing on image and video media drops. It would add a new dimension for users viewing this type of media. Any chance on this happening? They have a very well defined APIs and many services are now using them to enhance the viewing experience of images and videos.

Media RSS feeds? What are the chances that you can provide a standard 'Media RSS' feed? It would make so much sense as i am sure drops are very popular for pictures and videos.

De-activate the "Share" a drop optionI have setup a drop for my users to only be able to add files to it, view other files and comment on files in the drop and that will be great for my purpose. But i definitely don't want any user to be able to embed, zip or share any of the files ... how can i deactivate the "share" options on the drop?
Thanks-
