Daniel Polistchuck reported a problem in Code Sprinters on October 05, 2009 04:44:
Sprint backlog csv export items are unsortedCSV Exports of the sprint backlog are not ordered by priority (or in the same order they appear in the sprint backlog page).
Exports of the product backlog work fine, though.

Problem deleting projects.I can't delete projects in the "admin/projects" page. I click on the "Delete" link of a project row and nothing happens.
Edit: now the projects are gone... is the operation asynchronous?
Daniel Polistchuck reported a problem in Code Sprinters on September 25, 2009 19:07:
MySQL Error adding backlog itemMySQL Error trying to add a new backog item right after a CSV import (not sure if happens in non-imported backlogs):
Mysql::Error: Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction: UPDATE `backlog_items` SET `position` = 1 WHERE `id` = 230061264.
This error takes some time to appear in an javascript alert window after
1) Pressing the "create" button and
2) Waiting for the new "Item Form" to dim and undim.
I just started as CTO of a company and was thinking of standardizing on BananaScrum for one of our projects. The project already has a backlog with 172 items. I am worried about these types of bugs (the kinds of which I never found before after using BananaScrum for about 1 year).

Revamped Project Managment UII feel there's some kind of ambiguity in the "Project Management" UI. The list is presented with 3 links for each project. A link on the project name, one for "Edit" and another for "Delete". Wouldn't the merginig of "Edit" and the project name link be a good idea? This way project identification (Edit) and settings (project name link) could be accessed as tabbed "Project Properties" page with one tab for ID and another for Settings...

Got it! Can you add this as a project option? (You probably already new this was coming :) ) There's no byte order mark at 8 bits, since it's comprised of a single byte... But at least this way Excel will (probably) know it's a UTF-8 file and not a 127 bits ASCII one. Making this a project option lets the user decide what's best for his/her needs.

Thanks!!! I see it now! Now it opens directly in excel!
The only improvement left for me now is the "BOM" Unicode marker in the beginning of the exported file: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte-ord.... Currently, here's what I get with international chars:
