I think we do support links to any destination, but we probably don't index them. To index them, we need text and if those links don't point to text, there's not much there

Yes, the story needs to be shared at least a few times for us to index it.

I also looked into misomob however. It seems that a certain link has been shared 5-6 times, and should have probably been indexed.

However, the link is to an appstore app, and we probably could not get anything from there, so we could not do indexing around any keyword

We mainly track popular social sites like Twitter or Digg and popular blogs. If nobody mentions that bike you're talking about on these sites, we probably won't find things about it at this moment.

Are you referring to the link you received in your e-mail? If so, the old product has been replaced with a new version, where you can register with no invitation. The old invitations do not work anymore if they have not been used yet.

If you've been on the new version of the site (www.ubervu.com) and clicked on the Login/Register link in the top right, the register form is JavaScript. It works for me in Safari, so make sure you have JavaScript enabled.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

That's some old functionality that we did not get around to changing. In the past, you could manage multiple accounts that we called Channels. You'd add Flickr and name that account (Channel) someway intuitive for you.

This is not how uberVU works right now and we'll change that input box.

There seems to be a problem indeed, as it worked for me for the same story. We'll look into it, must be a problem of duplicate stories or something.

In theory, our algorithm should calculate the next probable time for a new post/comment.

There may be some problems if you don't update constantly. So if you don't write for a month and then you write 3 articles one day, we might calculate that we have to come back to your blog next week. Not a very good solution, I know. If you post regularly, we do a pretty good job at getting everything exactly when we need to.

We're working on updating a lot more often, but right now that's how the system works :(

We only sent feedback requests to people that got invites.

However, there have been some cases where the invite e-mail ended up in the Spam folder. You should check your Spam folder.

If you can't find the invite in your Spam folder, send me an e-mail at dragos@ubervu.com and I'll send you a brand new invite :)

There's a widget for your own blog that's been released today :) Not ready for the public yet, but it's coming
