Ya I am concerned about this too. I think during the day about questions that sound or could be made to sound resonible but are not. I posed the question if there will be an earthquake in Michigan. I heard there was one actually some year, but to me it's bascilly impossible for that to happen. I also made it an 80% chance that it would happen. I bascilly wanted to test and see if this would get voided. But what I thought is if it does get voided what would the serious argument against the question be. What makes a question resonible or unresonible? I wonder about people who make tons of money and don't have all their questions made public.. not even just them... anyone... are they creating their own questions and making dollars off them. This is why I created the crazy question and set the odds so crazy. I wanted to see if i could make up my own sure thing and win off it. I think that is what is about to happen. It's not the end of the world, just something we need to think about addressing.

I'm glad you wrote this topic. I was blown away when I saw the top leader have 200k. That's crazy... someone was at the top with 100k like yesterday and now...??? I dunno how that happend sooo fast.. makes me wonder how. I've been stuck at 6k for a while, but i'm really happy. I don't understand all that shift in the market... buying low selling high stuff InfernalMachine is talking about. I know what he means just I don't practice all that. I just want to think about can I get this answer right and such. I only know I don't bother betting on even sure things when I can only win like 5-10%. It seems pointless. So I do look for long shots. I dunno. I'm just glad we are bringing up the issue of these rich leaders. It would intimidate me as a new comer. I'm just PROUD to be in the top 100 usually. LETS just have fun guys!

All three of those ideas are freakin genius. I love the weekly leader boards. Also the power user is good. You should get a reward for creating good questions. I think this site can run the way wikipedia does. That site is all user created content and if you put stuff on there that isn't true, other users can get rid of it. It worked well and I trust the info that is there. I think in time these hickups will work out.

sweet jesus! is that actually a question? I'm sure it is though. Ya there needs to be a way to vote questions off. If 100 people say it's a waste of space then boot it. I think it could be run fine that way.

Yea I think that is about the right idea though... you are right leave that stuff out of hubdub. I just sometimes think or wonder why someone is betting one way and you know.. you could share tips or interests... but like you said the forum is the best spot for that.. it's just that not everyone will go there.

I would like an easier way to chat with other members. I'm sure you are working on that, but it would be cool to share ideas... etc. I wouldn't want to see that as a big deal though. people don't need personalized pages or anything.

Let's personalise stuff! I was searching for super bowl questions and found some under entertainment that I couldn't find under sports. That may have been the creators problem as you can tag which heading it will be under, but it was just weird.

I am admitting that I made in play bets... things that at the time I had no chance in losing. That's what i've been thinking about and I think it should be allowed but after the event starts you just can only win a percent that you would normally. Like after the event starts lower the winnings by like 60-70% something like that.. so even if you are quick to go on and place a sure bet you may only win some low ammount like 30 dubdollars. Ya know... you get stuff for your effort but it's not equal to the person who bet the day before. I do think you should be able to cash out ANYTIME you want. I did that and only cut a loss by 8

I don't know I think it could be open, but think about if I am betting if someone will win or lose and there is 10 seconds left... there has to be a cut off point. I think we can do a percentage thing... like if you bet after the event has started you don't win as much as if you bet before it started. So a 100 wager is worth 95 as it starts... and so on. that's my take

This happened to me too and I felt like an idiot. I flagged for review but nothing happened. It would be simple if you just had to review the question once more before it is posted like on other social network sites.
