A comment on the problem "Error on twitter search" in Yoono:
Same here, except I'm using FireFox 3.5.3. Everything else is the same, when I click on a #hashtag it pushes a double ##hashtag to twitter.
Odd, that. – Drew, on October 25, 2009 05:32
Drew reported a problem in Ping.fm on October 19, 2009 22:56:
API not reporting methodsPing.fm API doesn't seem to be reporting chosen method with custom group. please see: http://twitter.com/meping/status/4996...
The documentation shows the API reports the methods for custom triggers.
user.triggers
Returns a user’s custom triggers.
URL: http://api.ping.fm/v1/user.triggers
Parameters:
* api_key – Your developer's API key
* user_app_key – User’s application key
Example return:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<rsp>
<transaction>12345</transaction>
<method>user.triggers</method>
<triggers>
<trigger>
<services>
<service name="Twitter" />
</services>
</trigger>
<trigger>
<services>
<service name="Facebook" />
</services>
</trigger>
...
</triggers>
</rsp>
Our good friend over at http://www.bryanbartow.com/apps/meping, Bryan Bartow, doesn't seem to be getting the proper response from the API. That makes pinging through my custom groups awkward.

Error on twitter searchLoving Yoono, great app! Small problem, Yoono adds an extra # when clicking on twitter # codes, resulting in "##code" on twitter search
Drew reported a problem in Ping.fm on July 08, 2009 15:05:
Posterous doesn't update with Grammar Correction correctly.Posts to posterous don't have my name added properly from the adjust grammar trigger. Posts have the name missing from the beginning which doesn't fit the posterous format.
A comment on the problem "ping.fm trigger groups not working as twitterfeed prefix" in twitterfeed:
I thought it would work too. I've asked Ping (http://gsfn.us/t/92vo) we'll see what they have to say. – Drew, on July 06, 2009 18:15
Drew reported a problem in Ping.fm on July 03, 2009 02:26:
Ping doesn't recognize group tag from twitterfeedThe custom group triggers don't seem work when posted from twitterfeed. I use twitterfeed's prefix field to add a group trigger but ping doesn't seem to read it.
A comment on the problem "ping.fm trigger groups not working as twitterfeed prefix" in twitterfeed:
That's true for the method and service triggers (@s @m @ff and such) but the group triggers are attached to a specific method on creation. Choosing the proper method would be up to the user when they created the feed. – Drew, on July 03, 2009 02:14

Oh yes, they do. But there are only 3 of them, and one of them apparently has to sell Rolex knockoffs on the side :) – Drew, on June 26, 2009 22:33

Post to Google DocsI just read the 'post pictures to Picasa' idea and thought "Why not post to Google docs?"
Drew replied on June 19, 2009 21:41 to the question "How can I post seperate updates to my professional (LinkedIn, Yammer, Twitter) and personal (Myspace, Gmail, Facebook) profiles?" in Ping.fm:
It's been 3 months since this question was posted, so I don't know if this is still a problem for you but this might help someone else. So here we go:
I had the same problem, the status I would post to Facebook was NOT the kind of thing I wanted to post to LinkedIn. So I choose the 'Status Update' method, gave it a short group name, 'stats' and selected only my more informal networks, Facebook, Gmail and the like.
I choose the 'Blogging' update method and created a group that posts only to my news and opinion blog, and excluded my journal and graphic arts blog.
To completely separate your professional and personal accounts would mean making a 'professional' group and a 'personal' group for each posting method.
Hope this helps.-
