For me the answer was:

1. Ctrl-click in the picture area to bring up the menu and choose settings
2. Select 2nd icon from left to get to Privacy settings. Make sure Allow and Remember are selected
3. Select webcam icon on the right and choose USB Video Class Video
4. Close the Settings

Kartar: that procedure doesn't work on my MacBook. I changed the settings just as you described, but it had no effect.

Thanks anyway for sharing the info. Maybe it will help someone else.

I don't find Jon's answer very helpful. Has anyone gotten the built-in iSight camera on a MacBook to work? If so, which of the settings did you use? Was there anything else you had to do to make it work? Thanks.
