I also have this issue, even with things as simple as googling. In particular, while ubiquity 0.5 rapidly pulls up "google" in response to "go", it remains unusable for a second or so.

    I'm using FF3.0.11 on Mac OSX 10.5.7

Assigning colours to activities and documents?
Is there any way to assign colours to activities and documents, rather than applications?

(Just to let you know, I think Slife is a great idea, and has a really nice implementation! In fact, I discovered it just after thinking that it'd be really useful to have a program that automatically tracked how I spent my time. That said, I think it would be a lot more useful if users were given greater ability to customize how data was presented, and how it is grouped.)

    filters for document titles?
It would be useful to have the ability to filter/group document titles. For example, I read a lot of pdfs as a researcher; the title bar on my pdf reader (which appears to be where slife gets the current document name from?) states both the name of the pdf file, and the current page number. As a result, Slife records the page number and name of the pdf... not particularly useful when you have "thesis (page 101 of 200)", "thesis (page 102 of 200)" etc., each showing up for ~20 seconds.

One way around this might be to have way of filtering document names, so that, for example, in skim (my pdf reader), the document name is assumed to only be the part of the title before the brackets; i.e. by using regular expressions or something similar.

    changing application icons...
How do I assign applications and documents new icons? (if this is currently possible...)

(i.e. I use aquamacs, but in slife, it just shows up with the same icon as slife itself. I'd like to assign it something else, but I haven't been able to find out how to do so..?)
