Being billed for "un-returned equipment" when we were never required to return equipment!?!?!?My brother recently got his new bill and is being billed for "Failure to Return Equipment?" What the hell is this for? We still have Comcast and wasn't required to have to return any equipment. If this is from the people who lived here in the past, this shouldn't be our problem!
This is the final straw Comcast, help me or consider me about ready to switch.

Maybe I'm not the right person to give advice to this but are you sure he hasn't had permission from them. Surely the 12-year-old son situation is over the top but if he's had permission from the people to open in their name, there really isn't much that can be done.
I'd like to hear a reaction to this though.

SRM-9002 Error! Comcast continues to say they need to send a tech for such a SIMPLE issue!?!?SRM-9002 ... Damn this issue is a problem! I just paid my bill yesterday and I've been trying to order a movie On Demand. What's pissing me off is this SRM-9002 is supposedly an error message for a delinquent account which clearly the CSR at the call center told me my account doesn't have.
They keep trying to send a tech out but there windows don't coincide with mine. What can be done and do I receive any sort of credit? The CSR said no cause On Demand is a free service. BUT, correct me if I'm wrong, should someone havre BASIC cable, they'd need to pay more to get the On Demand channel, right!?!?
Somebody please help me because this is pissing me off big time!

Cinemax was supposed to be $5 monthly, yet its $15.00???My brother was supposed to have Cinemax service added at a 12 month promotional rate for $5.00 a month. Yet, when he just got his bill, he is being charged $15.00 a month. He has the chat transcript where the employee said it would only be $5.00 monthly.
Is there anyway he can have this resolved and have $10.00 deducted from the first bill? Or what does he have to do? This is VERY inconvenient for him so please help.

Comcast Tech forgot DVR wire, how can I get one and how do I install the DVR? Is it hard?I recently had my Comcast installed and was told that I would be getting 12 months FREE of HDTV/DVR. Well, the tech came and installed the HDTV box, however said he couldn't install the DVR because he "didnt have the wire." How can I get this wire and how do I know if the HDTV box he dropped itself is a DVR box?
Dustin asked a question in Comcast on September 08, 2009 22:32:
Is it possible to waive first month payment upon installation?I was interested in getting Comcast service, but was told that in order to get the service, I have to pay first months payment AND installation fee AND activation fee upon installation.
My cousin, who is a Comcast customer as well has told me that he was able to get Comcast service and only had to pay the installation fee when they came to install his and his first month fee was waived onto his first bill.
Is it possible for me to have my first month payment and digital phone activation waived to my first bill and only need to pay for installation when the Comcast tech comes to install? If so, how does this work exactly?
