How do links work in slideshare files?

I notice in some of my slideshare files the links sometimes are clickable and other times there not. What is the policy on links and what is the correct process for embedding them?

They can also use the menu to increase the size. Just right click on your slideshare on your page and click zoom in. Just add it as text under your slideshare or in the introduction.
