That Kid from Omaha asked a question in The Robot Co-op on July 26, 2008 06:06:
Will All Consuming ever offer an RSS feed per item "type"?Will All Consuming ever offer an RSS feed per item "type"? Or, at the very least, an attribute (per item) with an attribute type defining its media type?
The product asks users to distinguish between Books, Music, Movies, Food & Drink, and Other... unfortunately, the RSS feed a user gets back for themself (at "http://allconsuming.net/person/username/rss") is an "all consuming" feed with no delineation between item types.
As such, mashups and badges/widgets are incredibly onerous to develop for specialized types.
For an example of what I'm suggesting, I'd think any of the following would be along these lines:
- feed: http://allconsuming.net/person/userna...
- feed: http://allconsuming.net/person/userna...
- item:
...

- insertion of new element into item element:
...<mediatype type="books">...</mediatype>

Flag any book as "read" or "reading" without AddingIt would be great to mark/tag a book to LibraryThing as being "read" or "reading," without adding it to your Library. I check out many books from the library to read, but they're not truly in "my" home library.

There are other files beyond the application which you'll want to hunt for. For instance, AIRmail, Tweetr, and Pownce all put folders (with the same name as the apps) in the ~/Library/Preferences/ directory. I haven't found any other locations of files yet, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Hope this helps out.-

That Kid from Omaha reported a problem in Apple on August 26, 2007 05:21:
I can't get my iDisk to mount.Every time I click "iDisk" in the sidebar of any of my Finder windows, I get a message saying: 'The volume for "iDisk" cannot be found.'
I tried all the recommendations listed at: "http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302142"
Sadly, none have resulted in my iDisk mounting on my Desktop. Any ideas?
