Custom URL shortener problem in Tweetie 2I love the idea of being able to use a custom URL shortener. The one I'm interested in clicky.me.
I set this up yesterday, but it's not working. When I copy the URL into Safari, it works and returns just one line of text with the URL. In Tweetie (with the %@ substitution), I'm not getting any response. It would really be helpful to get an error message when Tweetie can't figure out what to do with the response, so at least I can see that it tried.
The problem is that the clicky.me API is only available to paying customers of getclicky.com, so it might be difficult for you to test this. They have the documentation of their API online, and I'd be happy to assist in any way I can.
One potential problem might be uppercase letters and punctuation marks in my password. Does Tweetie lowercase the URL? Does it urlencode characters other than spaces and commas?-

I've had the same problem for the last few weeks. When I visit the page, the follower count is out of date. I have to click refresh to get it to update. This is annoying, because these stats are also shown in my getclicky dashboard, so I always have to come to this site to click refresh (and get a choppy chart rather than a good idea what's really happening).

I'd like to add sorting by other criteria, like date added. I just noticed that there are now 21 pages of fonts on my Personal account, rather than 20. How can I find out which ones are new? Sorting by date added would solve that problem (any chance to do this another way?)
The tags aren't bad (though there are too many of them, and there is too much overlap), they certainly help narrow things down.

A comment on the problem "Crappy Font Rendering in DrawIt" in Bohemian Coding:
Good to see that it's not dead! The beta from dropbox clearly improves things, but it goes back to "crappy mode" (sorry ;) as soon as so much as an inner shadow is applied. So that doesn't really help much, as most text will have some kind of effects applied to it.
But it's good to see that it's not dead, and I think your postings here are an encouraging sign. I still hope to see a version of DrawIt that fixes the font issue completely; the program combines the best of the vector and bitmap worlds imho. – EagerEyes, on August 24, 2009 15:31

Show styles and weights available for each font in the listI'd like to see the styles and weights available for a font in the list, without having to click on it. To not make things too busy and cluttered, maybe only show them when the user mouses over them.
EagerEyes reported a problem in typekit on August 21, 2009 23:48:
Too many "exotic" fonts, and many have no italic and boldThe font selection is okay, but it mostly seems to cover display fonts and "exotic" stuff. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but I still haven't found a good font for regular text (not in my Personal library, anyway).
Many of the more "normal" fonts also have the problem that they don't have bold and italic styles. That makes them much less useful, because I just need italics and I like using bold in lists and sometimes in longer stories.

Switching between paid plans?I upgraded to the Personal plan. Currently, there doesn't seem to be a way to look at the bigger plans again and maybe decide differently (or go the other way, from the bigger one to Personal). Is this planned during the beta, or only once typekit is live?

Sort fonts and tags by nameWhy aren't fonts and tags sorted? It's so much harder to find anything this way.
EagerEyes shared an idea in typekit on August 20, 2009 04:21:
Negative filtersI'd like to be able to exclude fonts with certain tags. So when I click on "Sans serif", maybe I want to not see "fun" and "distressed," but only the more serious fonts. As the collection grows, browsing through a lot of fonts is going to become tedious.
EagerEyes shared an idea in typekit on August 20, 2009 04:03:
Let me test a font in different sizes and stylesIt's hard to get a decent idea what a font will look like if I can only test it in one size, and can't test the different styles. This should be possible in the "Your Text" tab on the font details page.
