Can you publish the Apigee roadmap? It's great that so many of the suggestions made in this forum are "in the pipeline", but even better would be if Apigee publicly maintained a roadmap, even if it's were only for the next major milestone. Since transparency is the new marketing, it might be a net-win, even if the concept seems like tipping your hand to the competition.
Marsh Gardiner asked a question in Apigee on October 16, 2009 14:40:
Why no path or query parts in the API target URL configuration? There's probably a good reason for this, but why is it that the "API Hostname cannot contain path or query parts."
With Twitter's announcement of API versioning, Apigee would let me change all my mashups all at once just by prepending "api." to the TLD and appending "/1" to my current "http://twitter.com" API endpoint. This kind of flexibility would be one more cool way in which Apigee makes my life better.

Apigee.com doesn't recognize meIf I'm already logged into my Apigee account, and I visit apigee.com, the header menu should recognize my and offer "your account" rather than "sign in to your account".
Marsh Gardiner replied on October 13, 2009 19:12 to the problem "How can I download the table data?" in Apigee:
Ok, I though this solved my problem at the time, but it's bitten me again...
I can see the CSV link for the "Details" chart, but not for the others. (related?)
Also, I seem to be getting only the 5 lines of the currently displayed table and not ALL the data. Is this "as designed"? I'd like to be able to slice and dice all the data in Excel. (related post)-

I'd recommend pushing it as fast as you can... anything you do to demonstrate uptime and accountability increases trust, which might be your biggest barrier to adoption. Tout it prominently as a feature on the landing page.
Speaking of trust, I wonder how many potential users are scared by the thought that internet companies come and go all the time... If there were a way to guarantee that if Apigee were to shut down, then it would continue to provide service for a length of time beyond that, say 6 months. That might soothe any alarm bells. – Marsh Gardiner, on October 08, 2009 17:15
Marsh Gardiner replied on October 08, 2009 17:09 to the idea "Adding Apigee-only query strings to API URLs" in Apigee:
Actually, I'd like both.
I love using Yahoo Pipes for lightweight mashups, but I don't have any control over the header. So in order to be able to "add on" to those mashups, Apigee would have to support query parameters.
I'd use this feature to have one Apigee API per provider but be able to track my mashup traffic within it.
It would turn Apigee into a "customizable API for API stats." :)

Great improvements! I especially like the "uptime bug" at the top.
Any plans to add an Apigee status page (e.g. status.apigee.com) that shows the current uptime status, % uptime for 24 hours, and longer term, like a month? It would help communicate that it's safe to Apigee as a layer. Couldn't hurt to show the latency there too.
Now I'm just waiting for the ability to drill-down into the URLs by keyword. :)

Recent activity doesn't show my recent activityI've started 15 topics for Apigee, but I don't see any of them in the recent activity on my profile page. Any idea why?
