It worked. except, not. I thank you for you're response because it lead me to the right answer. It turns out that if you have your Built-in Microphone set to anything but 44100.0Hz, then it has somewhat of the same effect.

The sound sampling is probably set too high.
Go to Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup.app.
On the left of the window, in the field labeled Properties For:
Select Built-in Output, from the popup choices.
In the lower right corner of the window, the Audio Output section,
should read Format: 44100.0Hz, select this value from the pop up choices.
That's it, you should be able to record and playback uploaded video normally.

Help! My seesmic video/audio is extremely slow, everything looks proper when recording, but when the recorded video is played back the audio and video is about half speed or slower. When I record and do not select the built in microphone, then the video output looks perfect, however I then have no audio.

This is all on a brand new Macbook Pro 17" Thanks
