A comment on the question "Are there ready made templates?" in PBwiki:
Hi Donna- I'm sorry for the typo. You cannot reuse the wiki name if you delete the wiki. It sounds like you've removed your content, so you should be ready to start over. If you'd like to update your wiki to PBwiki 2.0, just visit www.pbwiki.com/2 to sign up to test this out. Is there anything else I can do for you? – Rachel Pennig, on June 19, 2008 19:42

I assume she meant to write "you can't create a new wiki w the same name." I don't understand how to "remove the content and start over."

There's not a risk per se, as long as you don't go to "Settings" -> "Delete this wiki". I only warned you about that because a few users have deleted their wikis that way, thinking they could recreate the blank wikis by deleting the original. – Vu Nguyen, on June 17, 2008 20:10

Please make sure that you DO NOT delete the wiki, or even you will be unable to use that wiki name again. – Vu Nguyen, on June 17, 2008 19:48

Eddie asked a question in PBwiki on April 02, 2008 02:54:
Arrangement of slideshowsHow do I get my slideshows to sit side by side on the page? They seem to snap to the left side no matter how I move them. I would like a different arrangement than vertical.

I was hoping to format a page with columns like a word processing program. Your reply seems to imply that my hopes are not possible. My page had a long list of checklists which already included tables and I wanted to break up the page and save scrolling. Your solution would put tables within tables if that is possible.

Hi,
At the moment, because 2.0 is still in beta, you only make a 2.0 wiki if you explicitly choose that option when making your wiki. If you don't remember, you can tell the difference by looking at the SideBar: 2.0 wikis have separate right hand columns, whereas 1.0 wikis have a SideBar box that sits inside the main content area.
If you made a 1.0 wiki and want to try out the features of PBwiki 2.0, feel free to make another wiki!
Vu

I did what you said and I don't have the choices that you listed. I've only been doing wikis for about a week. I would think that I have 2.0. If you just launched the new templates, do I have to reload or something similar? My choices of templates are Contact list, FAQ, Plan a trip, Publicize an event, put interesting links here, recipe, store photos and to-do list.
