Thanks for the tip. I deleted all traces of Twhirl. I cleared my Cache. Deleted all adobe products. Reloaded Adobe. rebooted. Cleared my Cache again. Tried to load Twhirl - got a message saying adobe air was corrupt.

Good-bye Twhirl....

Clearing the Temp Files Cache (Windows Vista IE7) fixed me. Thanks!!!
Cleared the cache, redownloaded (this time the file was bigger).
I didn't need to close the browser.
It installed cleanly with no errors.

I had something similiar with my new laptop so maybe this is the same.

Anyway if you have installed Adobe Air and you can't download it might be because flash is outdated as well. You need the lastest version of flash so that the website can check if it is up and running. So if you update it this might help solve your problem.
